Poojary inaugurates new wedding hall at Kudroli temple

Mangalore, Nov 17, 2012: B. Janardhan Poojary, former union minister and senior Congress leader, inaugurated the Jaya C. Suvarna Marriage Hall and Raghavendra K. Dining Hall on the premises of Shri Kudroli Gokarnatheshwara Temple on Nov 17, Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, he said that the marriage hall and dining hall now stand complete in spite of financial problems. Speaking about the facilities at the temple, he said that it has six auditoriums now. He also acknowledged the financial assistance given by several devotees without which these auditoriums could not have been built.

 

The auditorium, which has an area of 6,500 sq. ft., can seat around 1,200 people and the Raghavendra K. Dining Hall has an area of 7,500 sq. ft.  Jaya C. Suvarna of Billawa Maha Sabha presided.

Among those present were K. P. Nanjundi, the entrepreneur; H. S. Sairam, president of the temple management committee; Urmila Ramesh Kumar, vice president of the development committee; Padmaraj, management committee treasure; and many others.
