Police seize 1.39 Kg of ganja from MIT student

Udupi, Mar 29, 2017: MIT student from Manipal was arrested and 1.39Kg of ganja was seized from him in a room at his apartment in Vidyaratna Nagar in Manipal.


arrest 29 marThe accussed arrested is identified as Hari Pai(21), from Karwar. He is a sixth semester Mechatronics student of  Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT).

On credible information police team lead by Deputy Superintendent of police, Kumaraswamy conducted  a raid opertaion at his apartment . During the raid they have siezed 1.39Kgs of Ganja, a cellphone and utensil used to prepare ganja powder a total of Rs 38,300. Hari Pai was taken tom custody.

Case has been registered in Manipal police station and investigations are in progress.

Thanks to police department , Never give excuse to one who are arrested in drug case. They not only spoil their life but put others into it . The one who actually suffers due to drug abuse are the youths , Some knowingly get involved and some innocents unknowingly fall into trap
