Mangaluru, May 26, 2026: To facilitate track maintenance works under the South Western Railway zone on multiple days, several train services will be diverted, partially cancelled, or have changes in origination during June and August 2026.

Diversion of Train Services
Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar – SMVT Bengaluru Express, departing from Murdeshwar on June 16 and 17, 2026, will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yasvantpur Junction, Hebbal and Banaswadi. The train will skip its scheduled stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment.
The same train, commencing its journey from Murdeshwar between July 31 and August 2, 2026, will be diverted via Hassan, Nelamangala, Chik Banavar, Lottegollahalli and Banaswadi. During this period, the train will skip stoppages at Hole Narsipur, Krishnarajnagar, Mysore Junction, Mandya, Channapatna, Ramanagaram, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru and Bengaluru Cantonment.
Partial Cancellation of Train Services
Train No. 26652 Ernakulam Junction – KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, commencing journeys on July 31 and August 3, 2026, from Ernakulam Junction, will be short terminated at Krishnarajapuram. The service will remain partially cancelled between Krishnarajapuram and KSR Bengaluru.
Similarly, Train No. 16512 Kozhikode – KSR Bengaluru Express, operating from July 31 to August 3, 2026, will be short terminated at SMVT Bengaluru. The train service will be partially cancelled between Yasvantpur Junction and KSR Bengaluru.
Change in Origination
Train No. 16511 KSR Bengaluru – Kozhikode Express, commencing journeys from July 31 to August 4, 2026, will originate from SMVT Bengaluru instead of KSR Bengaluru. The train will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 8 pm on the scheduled day of journey.
As a result, the train service will remain partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru and Yasvantpur Junction.
