Pillion rider killed, another injured in tipper-scooter collision near Adyar

Mangaluru, August 27, 2023: An incident involving the collision of a tipper truck and a scooter has resulted in the tragic death of a student. The incident took place on Saturday at the Adyar near Mangaluru.

The deceased student has been identified as Adyar Padavu resident Sharfudeen (16). He was a 10th-grade student at Milagris School in the city.

The incident occurred while he was traveling with a friend. Due to the impact of the collision, Sharfudeen was thrown onto the road, and there was severe bleeding. Local residents immediately rushed Sharfudeen to a nearby Hospital. Despite the efforts, the medical treatment could not save him from the fatal injuries.

It is reported that another person has sustained minor injuries and has survived the accident.
