A Legacy of Culinary Excellence Since 1960

Paakashala’s roots trace back to 1960 with the establishment of Brahmin’s Coffee Bar by KN Nageshwara Adiga and KN Saraswati in Bangalore. Known for its simple yet flavourful vegetarian offerings, it laid the foundation for a culinary movement. Their son, Shri KN Vasudeva Adiga, expanded this vision in 1993 with the launch of Vasudev Adiga’s, which revolutionized Karnataka’s vegetarian dining landscape.

Recognized nationally for his entrepreneurial acumen, Mr. Adiga’s leadership attracted investment from New Silk Route in 2012, further fueling the brand’s growth. Building on this legacy, he established Paakashala in 2018, creating a new benchmark in vegetarian dining.

Paakashala: Growing with Integrity and Innovation

In just seven years, Paakashala has grown to over 30 outlets across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Known for its clean kitchens, expansive menu, and customer-friendly spaces, the brand serves more than 325 vegetarian dishes, ranging from South and North Indian to Chinese and Continental cuisines.

With strategic locations along highways and coastal towns, Paakashala caters to families, students, professionals, and travellers. Its branches in Udupi, Kumbashi, and Murudeshwara have become popular stops for pilgrims and long-distance travellers, offering wholesome vegetarian meals in clean, modern environments.

New Horizons and Future Plans

The Mangalore outlet joins Paakashala’s growing list of locations, with new branches planned for Mysore, Kanakapura, Mandya, Davanagere, Greater Kailash (New Delhi), and Chenduru on the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway. Each outlet continues the brand’s promise of delivering fresh, traditional vegetarian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.
