One dead, over 15 injured as mini-bus carrying pilgrims from Kadaba overturns near Tirupati

Sullia, May 15, 2025: A mini bus carrying pilgrims from Kadaba who were on way to Tirupati, overturned on the Tirupati-Srikalahasti highway on Wednesday. An elderly pilgrim from Kadaba died while over 15 people were injured.
The mini bus carrying pilgrims from Bilinele and other places had left Gundya on Tuesday on a package tour to Tirupati. They were supposed to have darshan on Wednesday evening.
Prior to that they were on way to Srikalahasti when the driver lost control over the bus which hit the divider and overturned.
Sheshamma (70) from Kadaba died in the mishap while two others are said to be critical. Over 15 injured including Tanush, Kamalakshi, Tilaish, Sheenappa and Somashekar have been admitted to local hospital.
