Mogaveera Yelu Pattana Sabha demand probe into Sohan’s death

Mangalore, Dec 6, 2013: The local unit of Mogaveera Yelu Pattana Samyuktha Sabha (R), Boloor, said that the death of Sohan in the MCC swimming pool recently was a pre-planned murder, hence investigation must be conducted.

Addressing the press meet held at Press Club on Dec 6, Friday, said Yashwanth P Mendon, president of Mangalore Moghaveera Yelu Pattana Samyuktha Sabha (R), Boloor said that Sohan was an intelligent boy and a good swimmer from past 6 years, hence it is hard to believe that he drowned.  This clearly shows that it was an unnatural death. 

He also said that even though the police department is investigating this case, there has been neither progress nor transparency in the case. 

The police department must immediately conduct an investigation and arrest the culprits to avoid future threat to the society.

They also warned to hold hunger strike, if the police department fails to respond in the right way.

H Gangadhar, advocate and member of Mangalore Mogaveera Yelu Pattana Samyuktha Sabha (R), Boloor urged the concerned department to upgrade the swimming pool with facilities like CCTV cameras and appointment of adequate security personnel, till then the pool must be closed, he said.
