Mangaluru, July 25, 2023: Two strangers robbed the bag of a woman consisting cash, credit cards, keys and other valuables after diverting her attention near the PVS Circle in the city on July 24, Monday.

A woman who had parked her car in front of the gate of the Laxminarayana Temple near PVS on Monday morning was speaking over mobile phone to the car service centre people when a stranger who approached her told her that a Rs 10 note had fallen down. Just when the woman picked up the note, he said another note is also lying towards the right side of the car. When the woman went to the other side to pick up the note, another stranger robbed the bag kept on the driver’s seat and escaped.

A complaint has been lodged at Mangaluru East Traffic Police Station.
