Mangaluru: Fish vendor survives murder attempt in Kuntikana

Mangaluru, May 2, 2025: An incident occurred on Friday morning in Kuntikana, Mangaluru, where a fish vendor was attacked with stones in an apparent attempt to murder him while he was waiting for a customer.
The victim has been identified as Lukman from Ullal.
Around 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Lukman was waiting to deliver fish to a customer in Kuntikana. At that time, a group of individuals arrived in a black Innova car and attacked him.
When Lukman tried to flee, the group chased him down, knocked him to the ground, and attempted to kill him by pelting him with stones. A Hindu woman who witnessed the incident screamed and rushed to his aid, which helped Lukman escape.
