Mangalore, Mar 17, 2013: The foundation for multi-storied residential complexes to be constructed by the Karnataka Housing Board at Kudupu and Kotekar, was laid by State Minister for Housing V Somanna on March 17, Sunday.
In his address, Somanna said the Project ‘A’ of Kudupu colony will be developed in a 58,000 square feet area and will have 42 flats including 37-2BHK and five 3BHK flats.
The Plot ‘B’ at Kudupu will have 27 flats including 24 2 BHK flats and three 1BHK flats.
The Kotekar colony will have 216 flats. The KHB is also working on the District Ranga Mandir project on a 3.35 acre land at Bondel, the Minister said adding Ambedkar Bhavan will also come up at Kottara Chowki.
Jail and Rabies Wards will also be constructed at Wenlock Hospital, he informed.
District in-charge Minister CT Ravi, N Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, Monappa Bhandary, MLC were among others present on the occasion.
