Last batch of Hajj pilgrims return to Mangalore

Mangalore, Nov 17, 2012 : The last batch of Muslims, who had gone on their Hajj pilgrimage, returned on Nov 16, Friday. The fifth and last batch landed at Mangalore International Airport at 9:40 a.m. on Friday.

State Hajj Committee President M. M. Ahmed, Mangalore Hajj Camp Managing Committee President Yenepoya Mohammed Kunhi, Vice President Aziz Baikampady, DK District Wakf Advisory Committee President Usman Haji, and others welcomed the last batch back home.

All the batches except the first batch returned to Mangalore on time. Each pilgrim was permitted to bring up to 10 litres of Zam Zam water.
