Kundapura: Absconding accused arrested at Goa after years abroad

Kundapura, April 30, 2025: The Kundapura police arrested an accused who had been absconding abroad and failed to appear before the court in connection with a case. The arrest was made at the Goa airport.
The arrested individual has been identified as 29-year-old Musin Saheb, a resident of Kandlauru Kavradi. A case had been registered against him at the Kundapura Rural Police Station, and he had secured bail from the Kundapura court in 2017. However, he later went into hiding and stopped appearing for court hearings.
A total of 13 arrest warrants had been issued against him during this period. Suspecting that he may have fled abroad, a Look Out Circular (LOC) had been issued in his name. Based on this, the police received information that Musin had arrived at Dabolim Airport in Goa. Acting on the tip-off, the police took him into custody.
A case has been registered at the Kundapura Rural Police Station regarding the arrest.
