Kadaba Financier accused of attacking studio owner

Puttur , June 19, 2016: A studio owner from Kadaba who is injured and admitted to a local hospital has alleged that he was attacked by  Sridhar K Shetty, the owner of a finance company from Kadaba.

Attack.jIt is said that Padmashree Studio Owner Purushottam had borrowed Rs 30,000 from Shetty who owned the Dattakrupa Finance Corporation at Kadaba. Though Purushottam used to regularly pay  interest every week, it is said he was never issued a receipt. It is said on Saturday when he demanded a receipt he was attacked by Shetty and some of its staff. Meanwhile, locals who gathered in large numbers in  the area had accused the finance firm of fleecing them by charging an interest of Rs 40 per week for every Rs 1000 borrowed.

Investigations are underway.
