Janatha Dal fishermen’s unit and JD(S) to launch membership drive

Mangalore, Sep 11, 2012 : The DK District Fishermen’s Unit of the Janatha Dal and the Janatha Dal (Secular) have jointly launched a membership drive and district tour.

 

Making the above announcement at a press conference held on September 10, Monday, Ratnakar Suvarna Jeppu, president of the fishermen’s unit, said that office bearers for both units will be appointed at the booth level.

He also said that a number of young people will take part in the convention, which will be organized by the two units on September 24, adding that young people from Sullia, Puttur, Moodubidri, and Belthangady will be given the responsibility of strengthening the party at the ground level.

JD (S) Youth Wing Secretary Srinath Rai, District JD(S) Convener Yogish Shetty Jeppu, District Secretary of Fishermen’s Unit Pradeep Prabhakar, and many others were also present.
