Mohammed Kunhi, manager of Shanti Prakashana, told protestors that India can convey a strong anti-terrorism message to the world by breaking all relations with Israel.

Flaying the USA for supporting terrorism on the part of Israel, he said that, as a member of the non-aligned movement, India should not support such terrorism. He said that the association demands that all military and trade relationships between Israel and India must be ended immediately. India should stop purchasing arms and ammunitions from Israel, he added.

The protestors also demanded that India should modify its foreign policy and adopt the policies of Nehru and Gandhi, which were sympathetic to the cause of Palestine.

Journalist Arafa Manchi and lecturer Maryam Shaheera also spoke on this occasion.
