Mangalore, July 30, 2013: The International College of Dentists –Section VI will be organising the ICD-Mid year convention at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangalore on August 3 at 9 am.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on July 30, Tuesday, Prof (Dr) U S Krishna Nayak, President of ICD Section VI said that the International College of Dentists (ICD) is the oldest and largest International Honorary Dental Organisation in the world established in 1928 with over 12,000 members with its Head- Quarters in the United States of America. There are total 15 sections of the ICD based on regions, and the Section VI comprises of India, Srilanka and Nepal.
He also said that the conference will include guest lectures on various disciplines of Dentistry to be delivered by renowned Academicians and Clinicians from across the country including past president of the Dental Council of India, Prof Anil Kohli, Vice-President of the Dental Council of India Prof Mahesh Verma amongst others.
Prof. (Dr) Arunachalam Kumar, Director, Research and Development NITTE University will be the guest of honour at the inaugural ceremony.
Dr Nayak said that for the first time ever, a National level Endodontic (Root Canal Treatment) Debate will be held during the convention. The convention will be nothing short of a Scientific and Academic Extravaganza which will be attended by over 500 delegates including general practitioners’, post graduates and Faculty members from all over India and abroad.
