The Pumpwell area witnessed severe artificial flooding under the flyover bridge following incessant downpours since the early hours of Sunday, creating difficulties for commuters.

In Barebail, a massive tree uprooted during the night of May 24 damaged two houses extensively. One house bore the brunt of the impact, forcing its residents to evacuate and seek refuge at a neighboring home for safety.

Meanwhile, in Nujibaltila village of Kadaba Taluk, another tree fell on a moving car. Fortunately, the passengers escaped with minor injuries, averting a major tragedy.

With rain forecasted to continue in the coming days, authorities have urged residents to exercise caution and promptly report any emergencies related to the weather.
