He also said that through the proposed Anti-superstition Bill, the government should bring the law to prevent such inhuman practices. Hence, the government must pass an ordinance to ban made made snana in various temples in coastal districts.

Shivaramu also said that it is the mistake of temple authority to conduct the inhuman practice at Kukke temple which comes under the endowment department and it is not mentioned in any seva list about the made made snana. Hence they must be held responsible for such practices.

He also said that if the temple authorities consider the made made snana as faith, then even Brahmins and priests must roll over the left over of food eaten by dalit and backward classes, he added.

Sri Basavaraj Devaru, seer of Sri Revanasiddeshwar Mahamat Kanaka Bhavana, Dharwad said that the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who spoke against made made snana in the Assembly as an opposition leader during the BJP government, has not taken any initiatives to ban it.

In the name of made made snana, temple authorities are exploiting dalit and backward classes, hence strict action must be taken against the temple authorities and the priests, he added.

Sri Rachoti Shivacharya Swamy of Bettadapura Shakha Mutt, Mysore, DYFI president Muneer Katipalla and others participated in the protest.
