Entrepreneur S. Ramesh takes over as MUDA president

Mangalore, Dec 7, 2011: S. Ramesh took charge as the president of the Mangalore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) today as the successor of Dr. Madhav Bhandary for a 3-year term.

In his taking over address, he expressed his gratefulness to the state government for giving him an opportunity to work for the welfare of Mangalore. Declaring that MUDA is an office for the people, he said that MUDA will work for the people.

Stating that a person gets power because people bestow it on him, he said that one must always work for the people. He also promised to give top priority to finding solutions for the problems of the people of Mangalore, adding that all issues raised by the people will be considered in order to make Mangalore better.

BJP District President Padmanabha Kottary, Monappa Bhandary, Vaman Shenoy, and Prof. M. B. Puranik, and others were also present.
