Murder in Sullia

It is learnt, Harish who worked as a cook, had plans to construct  a new house and accordingly, works of leveling the land using  a JCB  had begun on Saturday. Even a tractor of Hithesh was summoned to dispose  the mud. Accordingly, the works had continued until midnight and all the workers had  slept after having chicken curry for dinner.

If some workers chose to sleep inside the tractor, Harish and a few others slept on the verandah, while Harish’s wife Padmavathi,  their children  Gowrishanker, Suresh and also the tractor driver Hithesh and one acquaintance Vasanth had reportedly slept inside the house.

The murder came to light in the morning when Harish woke up not to find his wife, as well as Hitesh and Vasanth. When a search was undertaken, Hithesh and Vedavathi were found murdered in the hill behind the house.  The  bodies were in a compromising state.

According to reports, Harish’s wife had an illicit relationship with  Vasanth who used to do some works in their land since three years. On Saturday night, he is suspected to have killed Hithesh and  Padmavathi on finding  them in a compromising state in the hill. Investigations are in progress.
