Mangalore, Jan 1,2013: The BJP has been doing developmental works in the state considering it as its duty and not with an eye on elections, claimed DK District in-Charge Minister CT Ravi.
The Minister who spoke to reporters at Press Club on January 1, exuded confidence that the BJP will be able to retain power in the state. Just as examinations are never a headache for those who do their homework and study on a daily basis, the BJP too is not worried about the next Assembly elections, he further said.
Commenting on the internal squabbles in the BJP, the minister said the differences are between leaders and not between party workers and said party workers are organised and are the strength of the party.
The party would select candidates for the next elections, in strict adherence to party ideologies, he clarified.
He also extended New Year wishes to the people of the district and hoped the New Year would bring prosperity and the district would remain peaceful.
