Corp SME Mega Expo-2013 inaugurated in Mangalore

Mangalore, Aug 10, 2013: Bibhas Kumar Srivastav, Executive Director of Corporation Bank inaugurated Corp SME Mega Expo -2013 at the Bhuvanendra Hall of Canara High School, Dongerkery on August 10, Saturday. The expo was organized for small and medium scale enterprises.

Speaking on the occasion, BK Srivastav said that by the end of March 2014, Corporation Bank will establish nine SME centres in Mangalore.

He also said that the development is only possible when there is good relationship between Bank and customers.

K Socrates, Deputy Director of Ministry of MSME who was the chief guest, likened the relation between the government and SMEs to that of two batsmen in a cricket field. Good co-ordination between the two can definitely yield good results, he added.He was also all praise for the efforts made by Corporation Bank in supporting SMEs.

Several officials of Corporation Bank including DM Majumdar, Zonal Head and VS Kartikeyan, General Manager were present.
