MCC personnel, who were on board the truck, evicted vendors on roads and footpaths near the Central Market. Although the Civic Tiger commenced operations near State Bank, there are allegations that MCC sources alerted certain vendors who fled the scene along with their wares.

MCC officers and police arrived in 2 vans to clear the footpaths near Central Market. MCC’s health inspector and revenue inspector guided the drive.
