CSI Sushanthi Church celebrates harvest festival

Mangalore, Oct 9: The CSI Sushanthi Church in Mercara Hill celebrated the harvest festival on Oct 9 Sunday.

Vice Chairman D. I. Hans led the prayer and stated in his address that celebrating the harvest festival is a way of expressing gratitude to God for providing food in plenty. Later, the blessed grains were distributed among devotees.

A sports event is planned for this afternoon in the compound of the church with Raymond D’Souza, who was crowned Mr. World in 1990, as the chief guest.

Chairman William Sanjeeva Puthran, Convener Jyothi Britto, Secretary Shavina Soans, Treasurer Manoj Manjers, Joint Secretary Karen Anchan will also be present.
