Mangalore, Jun 4, 2012 : Attacking Rahul Gandhi, the general secretary of the Congress party, for calling the BJP-led state government of Karnataka as the “most corrupt,” CM D. V. Sadananda Gowda said that Rahul Gandhi should first clean his house before criticizing others.
Stating that Rahul Gandhi has no rights to criticize the BJP-led state government when the Congress-led UPA government is up to its neck in scams, he said that the Congress must clean its own house first. The CM was interacting with reporters in Chitradurga.
He also said that the centre has done nothing to relieve the farmers although Sonia Gandhi recently visited the drought-affected villages and studied the situation. The central government has sanctioned only Rs. 283 crore of the Rs. 6,500 crore requested by the state government for drought relief.
