CM Siddaramaiah to inaugurate new DC office complex “Praja Soudha” at Padil on May 16

Mangaluru, May 15, 2025: The new Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex “Praja Soudha” constructed at Padil under the aegis of the District Administration, Karnataka Housing Board and Smart City Ltd., will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on May 16, Friday. The three-storied complex has an area of 253159.67 square feet and will house over 35 offices and departments.

The basement floor will house Mangaluru One office, Finance and Statistics Department office, Post Office, Police outpost, Canteen, Karnataka State Forest Development Corporation office, Treasury, Security Room, District Health Centre and various other offices.

The ground floor will house among other offices, the office of the District Employment Exchange Centre, Ambedkar Development Corporation Office, MP’s cabin, Mangaluru MLA and District in-charge Minister’s Cabins.

The first floor will house the offices of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners Court and office of Mujrai Department as well as various other departments.

The second floor will have several offices including the office of the Religious Endowment Department, Tourism Department and Nirmithi Kendra.

Presently arrangements are underway to shift various offices from the present DC office to the new office complex.
