Mangalore, Mar 25, 2013: Billawa Mahila Sangha, Kudroli will hold its decennial celebrations at Damodar R Suvarna Auditorium-Narayana Guru College, Kudroli, on April 7 at 10am.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on March 25, Monday, Sumalatha N Suvarna, President of Billawa Mahila Sangha said that the Sangha, since its inception has actively involved itself in community activities and women’s welfare programmes in city.
She also said that as part of decennial year celebration, the organisation will hold various community service programmes for women of the community.
B M Rohini, a retired teacher, will inaugurate the event. Janaki Brahmavara, retired teacher, Dr Ramila Shekar, Dean at Roshini Nilaya School of Social Work, Mangalore and Gunavathi Ramesh, Vice-Principal, Al-Badriya College, Surathkal will be the guest speakers.
Vice-President Kamalananda Amin, Secretary Sukhalakshmi Suvarna, Treasurer Revathi Ashok and Cultural Secretary Shakilaraj were present at the press meet.
