Bantwal, June 17, 2025: A youth who was reported missing has been found dead in a road side drain on Monday.

The deceased is Sagar (28), son of Janardhana Poojary of Benjanapadavu. Sagar was a painter by profession. On June 14, he had travelled in an autorickshaw with his wife and child to get medicines. On his return, he had alighted from the autorickshaw near Mooru Marga. Later, he was untraceable following which a missing complaint was lodged.


Man death


On Monday, his body was found near the High School Road in Vidyanagar. It is suspected that he died after falling into the ditch.

Bantwal Rural Police have registered a case.
