Ashwini Akkunje wins PCB ’Person of the Year’ award

December 29 : Asian Games gold medalist Ashiwini Akunje has been selected for ’Person of the Year’ award announced by the Press Club of Bangalore.
Veteran Journalist and Outlook Editor Krishnaprasad has been selected for ’Person of the Year’ award, according to a release issued here yesterday.
’Ee Sanje’ Editor T Venkatesh, Indian Express Editorial Advisor T J S George and former Bangalore Doordarshan Director (News) K S Achuthan have been selected for annual awards of the club.
The awards will be presented by Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on December 31 at the annual new year eve function.
