Another clash in district prison: Kallega murder accused injured

Mangaluru, June 27, 2025: Yet another clash between under trials has been reported from the district jail premises on Thursday.
Notorious rowdy of Ullal Mohammad Mukhtar and some other under trials were involved in this clash wherein an under trial named Keshav has been seriously injured and hospitalized. Keshav is an accused in the Akshay Kallega murder case that took place on November 6, 2023.
Mukhtar is involved in over 15 cases and was arrested in July 2022 after cops fired at his legs while he was trying to escape.
