All out efforts to implement Vision Udupi-2025 agenda, promises Pramod Madhwaraj

Udupi, May 29, 2013 : Pramod Madhwaraj, the newly elect MLA of Udupi Assembly constituency has  said that he was totally committed to fulfill the  promises made in his election manifesto Vision Udupi-2025.

 

He was responding to a felicitation conferred on him on behalf of the Udupi Block Congress at Sheshashayana Hall of Hotel Kidiyoor here on May 28, Tuesday. Pramod said he attributed his victory by a record margin of 40,000 votes to the electorate and party workers and added he would strive  to discharge his duties and responsibilities sincerely.

“ I will try to develop Udupi as a model constituency in the next five years by joining hands with senior leaders including Oscar Fernandes, MP Jayaprakash Hegde and State Minister Vinaykumar Sorake,” Madhwaraj said.

Udupi MP Jayaprakash Hegde, who also spoke on the occasion, said the newly elected representatives should keep in mind that the people have voted for the Congress hoping for a change  for better.

Pramod Madhwaraj and his wife Supriya were felicitated on  behalf of Udupi Block Congress and 22 Congress councilors of Udupi CMC.

B Hirianna, in-charge President of Udupi Block Congress, presided over the function.  Fr William Martis, Parish Priest of Udupi Church, delivered the felicitation address.

Several Congress leaders including Krishnaraja Saralaya, Rajesh Shetty Birthi and Janardhan Thonse were present.
