Mangaluru, Feb 02, 2021: Noted swimmer Nagaraj Kharvi who recently created a new record by swimming a distance of one km in 25 minutes and 16 seconds in Padmasana posture and with legs chained in the Arabian Sea at Tannirbavi, has received his India Book of Records Certificate.

This was informed by Kharvi himself at a press meet in the city on February 2, Tuesday wherein he even presented the certificate received by him. He said many have appreciated his feat and that the India Book of Records Chief himself had called him and congratulated him.
The certificate was unveiled by Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade, he said adding Dr Heggade even gifted him a silver medal embossed with the Mudra of Lord Manjunatha.
