Accused absconding since 13 years arrested in Mumbai

Mangaluru, Sep 05, 2023: A man from Mangaluru who was wanted in a case and was absconding since 13 years was arrested in Mumbai by the Urwa police.
The arrested man is Preetham Acharya (38) from Jeppinamogaru. Police who gathered information that he worked as a manager at a hotel in Mumbai visited the place and apprehended him.
He is facing cases under IPC section 403,406, 408, 409 and 420. The accused has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
