Udupi, Mar 24, 2026: A bike rider was killed on the spot in a head-on collision between a tempo and a motorcycle near the Arman Ratt Factory at Kabyadi in Aatradi on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar Naik (70) from Herga village. The tempo was reportedly travelling from Aatradi towards Moodubelle when the accident occurred. The pillion rider on the bike sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Manipal.
