In his address, ABVP State Secretary Ramesh said that organizations such as the CFI are giving rise to terrorism on college campuses, adding that PFI and CFI are both branches of SIMI and are carrying out terrorist activities. Stating that these organizations have killed a number of ABVP members in Kerala, he said that they are spoiling the culture and atmosphere of colleges. They have also misguided Muslim girl students regarding burkha and scarf issues and have created a lot of problems, he added.

Regretting that certain college lecturers like Pattabhirama Somayaji are expressing their support to these organizations, he said that Mangalore is becoming the home of the drug mafia and that politicians are involved in this mafia. Warning that illegal sex activities are being held in the name of birthday parties, he warned girls to stay away from such parties.

Tejas, president of the University College Student Council, addressed the gathering and said that PFI and CFI members are actually terrorists in the guise of students and are more loyal to Pakistan than to India.
