7up Dance On: Mangalore, Udupi teams enter regional elimination round

Mangalore, April 21, 2013: Dance troupes from Besant Women’s College, Sizzling Guys, Smart Guys Dance Group, Udupi and Ocean Kids  Mangalore, have entered the regional elimination round in the  7up  Dance  On –national dance contest.

They have been selected in the first round city auditions  held in 15 cities of the South. Renowned actor and 7up Brand Ambassador Puneeth Rajkumar will be the jury in the final round to be held at Chennai on May 14. The victorious team will walk away with cash prize upto Rs 51 lakhs.

 

 

In all 32 teams from  Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, 28 from Tamil Nadu  will contest  in the inter-state audition to be held at Bangalore on April 24 and 27. Seven teams will be selected from regional auditions and get a chance to take part in semi-final to be held at Chennai on May 13.

Those getting the highest votes will get a wild card entry and the video of their dance performance will b uploaded on the  7up website www.ifeelup.in. The first place winners will get a cash prize of Rs 21 lakhs, runners-up Rs 15 lakhs, second runners-up Rs 7 lakhs.
