14-minute miracle’ Vande Bharat cleaning at Kasaragod

Kasaragod, Oct 02, 2023: Indian Railways is going to adopt a new scheme for quality cleaning of Vande Bharat Express train rake at ’other end terminal stations’ by a unique system, “14-minute miracle" scheme. This unique scheme is going to be adopted all over Indian Railways including Southern Railway from 1st October 2023 as a part of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign.

In connection to this initiative Train no. 20633 KGQ-TVC Vande Bharat Express was cleaned at Kasaragod station by engaging 48 Men duly deputing 3 men per coach for the 16 car Vande Bharat Exp. Shri. Manoj. B Coaching depot officer, Mangaluru coaching depot administered the pledge for the commitment towards “14-minute miracle" scheme.

Shri. Sakkeer Hussain Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Palakkad expressed enthusiasm for the "14 Minutes Miracle Scheme". Also, he interacted with the cleaning staff and expressed the significance of this scheme in making the rail travel more punctual, enjoyable, and hygienic.
