Police raid suspected rave party in Bengaluru outskirts

Bengaluru, Nov 1, 2025: Police on Saturday raided a suspected rave party on the outskirts of Bengaluru, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from Kaggalipura Police Station, led by Bengaluru South District Superintendent of Police R. Srinivas Gowda, conducted a raid in the early hours at a private homestay in Thagachagere village, where the alleged party was in progress.
According to sources, the preliminary investigation revealed that most participants were from Bengaluru and were believed to be in their 20s.
“The party was reportedly organised through a WhatsApp group,” said a source familiar with the probe.
Several attendees have been detained and taken to a government hospital for medical tests to determine whether they had consumed any banned narcotic substances.
