Young woman succumbs to injuries a month after road mishap

Puttur, May 25, 2024: A young woman who had sustained critical injuries in a road mishap at Koovethila near Kabaka on the Maani-Mysuru road a month ago, has succumbed to her injuries on Friday night.
The deceased is Manjushree (20), daughter of Lingappa Gowda of Bantwal taluk. She was a student of a private college in Puttur.
Manjushree had sustained serious injuries in an accident involving an Alto car and an Activa. Manjushree was in a state of coma following the mishap.
