Vittla: Accused arrested in cattle theft case

Vittla, January 9, 2026: Vittla police have arrested an accused in connection with the theft of cattle that had gone out to graze and produced him before the court.


Cattle theft


The arrested person has been identified as Zulfan Malik (30), a resident of Ullal in Mangaluru taluk. He is accused of stealing a total of four cattle belonging to Ganesh Rai and Narayan Naik from the society grounds at Peruvai village in Bantwal taluk, where the animals had been taken for grazing.

Following the complaint, the Vittla police team apprehended the accused and presented him before the court.
