Udupi : Health inspector allegedly assaulted by councillor

Udupi, July 16, 2019: A health inspector of the Udupi CMC was allegedly assaulted by a councillor on July 16, Tuesday. The injured health inspector Prasanna Kumar has been hospitalised.
It has been alleged that he was assaulted by Yogish, a councillor of Malpe Vadabhandeshwara ward. It is alleged that the councillor who arrived at the office of health inspector addressed him in singular and abused and assaulted him over some issue pertaining to the ward.
Prasanna Kumar who suffered eye injury has been admitted to the Government Hospital.
