Udupi: Class 6 student killed in car accident near Nejar

Udupi, May 15, 2026: A tragic road accident near Nejar claimed the life of 12-year-old Abdul Rehman, a Class 6 student.
The accident occurred near Sixth Cross in Jyothi Nagar, Nejar, when the boy was reportedly crossing the road and was hit by a car.
He sustained serious injuries and was immediately shifted to a private hospital in the city. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
Abdul Rehman was a student of Salihat Educational Institution and was known for his academic talent. The management, staff, and students of the institution expressed deep sorrow over his untimely demise.
