Mangalore , Sep 5, 2011 : A few trains had to be diverted or cancelled because the Ratnagiri-Nivsar stretch of the Konkan Railway has not yet come back to normal conditions.
Passengers have been trans-shipped between Ratnagiri and Adavli Stations. The passengers of Train No. 12619 Lokmanya Tilak – Mangalore Junction Matsyagandha Express were trans-shipped along with the passengers of Train No. 12620 Mangalore Junction – Lokmanya Tilak Matsyagandha Express.
The Madgaon – Ernakulam South Express (train no. 10215), which was scheduled to leave Madgaon on Sunday and Mangalore Junction – Mumbai CST Express (train no. 12134), which was scheduled to leave Mangalore on Sunday, have been cancelled.
The Nizamuddin – Ernakulam South Mangala Express (train no. 12618), Hapa – Tirunelveli Express (train no. 16345), the Lokmanya Tilak – Thiruvananthapuram Nethravathi Express, Nizamuddin – Ernakulam South Duroto Express (train no. 12284), and others have been diverted through Panvel, Pune, Londa, Madgaon, and Miraj.
Pune – Ernakulam South Express (train no. 12520), which was scheduled to leave Pune on Sunday, was diverted through Londa, Miraj, and Madgaon.
