Sullia, Nov 24, 2022: Four police teams have been formed to investigate into the case reported from Beeramangala in Sullia wherein the body of a married woman was found stuffed inside a gunny bag at her rented house where she lived along with her husband.

The woman is yet to be identified.  Her husband Imran Sheikh is absconding and he is suspected to be the  killer.

Imran worked as a helper in a local hotel since eight months. He had been to his native place West Bengal within a few days of joining work and had returned with his wife. Initially Imran stayed with his wife in the hotel building itself and had later shifted to a rented accommodation. It is said his wife was disabled and walked with the help of a stick and used to wear burqa.

However recently, when he had left home saying he was going to his hometown, locals grew suspicious as he had not taken his wife along. Moreover, they had also heard screams from his house a few days ago. When police broke open the door, the body of the woman was found in the gunny bag.
