Mangaluru, Dec 23, 2021: Police have arrested six persons in connection with the shocking case of  hanging a fisheries worker upside down  inside the boat on the charges of mobile theft. The video of the incident wherein an Andhra Pradesh based man named Vaila Sheenu (32) was victimised had gone viral while also shocking everyone.

Police have now arrested Konduru Polayya (23), Avula Raj Kumar (26). Katangari Manohar (21), Vootukori Jalayya (30), Karapingara Ravi (27) and Pralayakaveri Govindayya (47) in connection with the incident. All of them are of Andhra Pradesh origin.

The accused after blaming Sheenu  for mobile theft had  tied his hands and legs and had hung him upside down and had  even assaulted him. The man was later rescued with the help of public.
