Tripthi, who also plays handball, was a member of the team that represented DK at the divisional level and won the second prize in 2011. She has participated three times in district handball events and has also tried hurdles. In spite of her volleyball success, Tripthi’s favorite game is handball.
Both Tripthi and Pooja were attackers in their team. Tripthi won the best attacker prizes both at the taluk and the district level.
