Rahul-Modi face off is a clash of ideologies : Mahendra Joshi

 Mangalore, Aug 19, 2013 : The Rahul Gandhi-Narendra Modi face-off is not merely a clash of political interests but is a clash  between the Congress and BJP ideologies, observed  Mahendra Joshi, Chief National Organiser of Congress Seva Dal.

 

 

Participating in the valedictory function of the Seva Dal Camp organised at the Scout Bhavan at Pilikula on August 18, Sunday, Joshi said it was a clash between the secular, democratic ideologies of the Congress as against the communal and undemocratic ideologies of the BJP.

“Narendra Modi is an utter liar. I can prove with statistics that all the examples highlighted to prove that Gujarat has achieved astounding progress are false. The Congress workers should give a befitting reply to the bundle of lies publicized by Modi, by unraveling the truth,” he said.

Joshi further said  the Congress Seva Dal has a history of 90 years and   strongly believes in the principles of peace, harmony and  brotherhood. He exhorted Seva Dal members to be disciplined, dedicated and duty bound and thereby strengthen the Congress party.

Pramod Kumar Pande, Karnataka in-charge of Seva Dal, also spoke. Bheemashanker, Chief Organiser of Karnataka Pradesh Seva Dal, Sujatha Ullal, Organiser of Seva Dal Women’s Wing. District Chief Organiser HM Ashraf and others were present.
