Puttur Government Hospital removes controversial sign board

Puttur, Dec 12, 2023: A controversial sign board that was put up at the Puttur Taluk Hospital and had led to widespread debate, has now been taken off.

 

A sign board stating “Remove your burkha before entering” was found pasted outside the doors of the ICU of the hospital.

Someone had taken a photo of the same and had posted in social media and the same had gone viral.

Soon after, the sign board has been removed by the hospital authorities.
