Photographers’ Association honours postmen to commemorate World Postal Day

Mangalore, Oct 9, 2013: The South Kanara Photographers’ Association celebrated World Postal Day in a meaningful manner on October 9, Wednesday by felicitating 20 postmen and three female staff of Kodialbail Post Office.

Association’s Udupi unit felicitated the outstanding postmen and hailed their services to the sociChandrakanth N Vora, President of the DK unit of the Association and Vasudeva Rao, President of theety.

Lohitaksha, one of the postmen who was honoured on the occasion, said it was one of the most memorable day of his life when his services have been recognized. Shakuntala, Post Master of Kodialbail Post Office was also one among those felicitated on the occasion.

Several office bearers of Photographers’ Association and postal staff were present at the function.
