Pancha Shatha Kalashibhisheka offered to patron deities of Kashi Mutt Samsthan

Mangalore, June 11, 2012:  Members of the GSB community from far and near have been visiting Sri Venkatramana Temple at Carstreet in Mangalore which is witnessing the Punah Pratishta rituals of Sri Vyasa Raghupathi idols, the patron deities of the Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan. The Punah Pratishta rituals which commenced on June 9, will conclude on June 13.

Various rituals including Pancha Shatha Kalashabhisheka,  Saannidhya Havana,Moolamantradi Japaanushtana were  performed at the Temple on June 10,Sunday, under the guidance of Sri SudheendraTheertha Swamiji, the senior Pontiff of the Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan, as part of the second day’s programmes.

 

 

Sri Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji, the junior pontiff and successor of Sri Sudheendra Theertha, offered Abhisheka to the Moola Vigrahas, the patron deities of Sri Samsthan.

In the evening,  thousands of GSB brethren participated with religious fervor in the Pura Pravesha programme of the  newly  made silver throne ( Rajatha Simhaasana) and Swarna Peetha Prabhavali meant to place the idols of the presiding deities after the Punah Pratishta.

The procession carrying the silver throne and the Swarna Peetha Prabhavali  reached the Temple via Navabharath Circle, Dongerkeri and  New Chitra Talkies route.

The Silver Simhasana meant for anointment of holy idols weighing 12.684 KGs handed over to Kashi mat Samsthan today donated by devotees of Mangalore. All other Parikara items in Gold, diamond and silver were also presented today.

GSB Samaja of Kerala state is to present ‘Varakanike’ to the Samsthan tomorrow in a grand way.
